Morant, Grizzlies beat Nuggets in matchup of West leaders

Memphis, Feb. 26 (BNA): Ja Morant scored 23 points and seven rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies took an early lead and cruised to a 112-94 win over the Denver Nuggets Saturday night in a game between the Big West teams. .

Teus Jones finished with 17 points, and Luke Kennard, Xavier Tillman and Dillon Brooks scored 12 each for Memphis, which is six games behind Denver in the conference race, the Associated Press reports.
