St. Petersburg, FL Sept. 27 (BUS): Mike Zunino hit a tiebreaker between two teams, as the Tampa Bay Rays clinch the MLS Eastern Conference title with a 7-3 victory over the Miami Marlins on Saturday in St. Petersburg. Florida.
Combined with the New York Yankees’ 5-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox, the win gave the Rice their second consecutive NBA title and fourth overall in organizational history, Reuters reports.
Zunino had two hits and two runs, and Brandon Lowe went 4-for-5 with three doubles and two RBIs. Joey Wendell and Yandy Diaz both got two hits, a run and an RBI.

Marcus Simin equaled a one-season home record for second base with the 43rd as Toronto snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating Minnesota in Minneapolis.
