MKF opens Bachelor degree scholarships registration

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Al-Mabarrah Al-Khalifia Foundation announced the opening of registration for the Rayaat Scholarship Program for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Registration will start from January 29th to February 8th.

Scholarships will include His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarship, HH Shaikha Mozah bint Hamad Al Khalifa Medical Scholarship in association with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RSCI) and two scholarships with the University. Technology Bahrain.

Registration for master’s and doctoral degrees at the University of Bahrain will be announced at a later date.

The list of participating universities also includes Bachelor’s degree scholarships at the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Polytechnic, and 7 Bachelor’s degree scholarships will be offered as part of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships in partnership with the British University of Bahrain and Ahlia University, in addition to Bangor University and the London School of Economics and Science Policy, affiliated with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, and RCSI.

Students who are interested in applying to the Rayaat Scholarship Program can visit the Foundation’s website to review the eligibility criteria and fill out the registration form.

Applications will be shortlisted, after which applicants will be selected based on personal achievement, participation, GPA, and volunteer work across the local community.

Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Fahd Bin Fahd Al Khalifa Foundation, affirms that the next generation of university-educated Bahraini students promises a future of informed and educated youth.

Her Highness Sheikha Zain said: “The goals of Al-Mabarrah Al-Khalifia Foundation primarily focus on supporting and encouraging students to benefit from the various activities and initiatives offered, which aim to accelerate their personal growth and enable them to better serve the country and its future.”
