Minister of Foreign Affairs signs agreements and MoUs between Bahrain and Oman

Manama, October 24 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani signed today at Sakhir Palace a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Sultanate of Oman within the framework of the official visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, King of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Omani counterpart Badr Al-Busaidi signed an agreement to grant Oman sovereignty over US beneficiaries’ data over Bahrain’s cloud data centers, which aims to develop, improve and sustain the quality of electronic services. The services provided to the beneficiaries and the attraction of foreign investments.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain represented by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture and the government of the Sultanate of Oman represented by the Ministry of Interior in the field of municipal work.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also signed an executive program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman for the years 2023-2024. The program aims to develop a legal framework for bilateral relations in coordination with the concerned authorities in the two countries, by preparing draft agreements and memoranda of understanding in various fields of interest.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs signed an executive program for a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of agriculture, livestock and fisheries between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain represented by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. Oman represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for the years 2023-2024.
