Manama, December 28 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Roderick Drummond.
The meeting discussed the close historical friendly relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom in various fields, and ways to develop joint cooperation to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The two sides reviewed the constructive outcomes of the official talks held in London between the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development of the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Elizabeth Truss, as well as the Joint Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers. Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United Kingdom.
