Medical specialization program graduates congratulated

Manama, October 10 (BNA) The French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jerome Cochard, honored four Bahraini doctors for their successful participation in the French-Bahraini Medical Specialization Program with B2 Level Diplomas of the French language.

The program is part of a government agreement signed in 2019 during the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to France. The French Embassy in Manama is following up its implementation.

The French embassy said in a statement that the Bahraini-French cooperation is a major basis for the relations between the two countries.

“At a time when the world is going through an unprecedented health crisis, medical cooperation must exist and develop between countries more than ever. This cooperation in the field of health, France and Bahrain has been made tangible through this wonderful programme.”

All the students in the class, like their predecessors last year, passed language tests with high scores. They will take off for France in November to start their new adventure.

Bahraini doctors Dr. Rashid Noaman Al-Hassan, Dr. Jalal Turani, Dr. Alanoud Al-Muraisel and Dr. Sheikha Al-Asam will learn their medical specialty for four to six years before returning to the Kingdom.

Ambassador Kochar congratulated the Bahraini doctors in a ceremony attended by the hospital director, their family members and prominent figures from the Ministry of Health at the France headquarters.

The ambassador praised their performance and presented them with language diplomas, wishing them further success.
