Paris, November 14 (BUS): Kylian Mbappe is still enjoying his time at Paris Saint-Germain after “five exceptional years”, but he will not commit to staying after the end of the season.
Asked what the future holds, Mbappe told TNT Sports: “I don’t know yet.
“I’m in Paris. I’ve already said I’ve had an exceptional five years here, I’ve enjoyed every moment and still do.
The 22-year-old is in his fifth season with Paris Saint-Germain, who he joined from Monaco on initial loan in 2017, according to the German news agency (dpa).
While his time with the Parisians has been anything but a success, with Mbappe finishing as the top scorer in Ligue 1 in each of the past three seasons, there is still a high possibility that he could leave at the end of June.
Mbappe is nearing the final six months of his contract, which means he will become a free agent if he continues to turn down a new deal at the Parc des Princes.
Real Madrid have been constantly linked with the French star over the past two years, and especially in the recent transfer window, when Los Blancos were said to have turned down as many as three offers for him.
Publicly, PSG are still confident of convincing Mbappe to stay, but it looks like they still have work to do.
