Maritime Training Wing Commander inaugurates vessel captains course

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): The Commander of the Naval Training Wing, Major Muhammad Zainuddin, inaugurated a course for ship captains at the Naval Training Wing of the Coast Guard, in cooperation with the US Coast Guard.

The commander said the course was part of the Coast Guard’s annual training program to improve the skills of the participating personnel.

The one-week course consists of two phases covering collision prevention law, maps, navigation devices, marine emergencies, first aid and pilot training.
