Your role and responsibilities
Are you a security expert who loves a challenge? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Consultant in our Intelligence and Security Operations (SIOC) practice. Cyber ​​security is one of the most important issues of our generation. IBM is looking to expand Security Operations and Security Competencies (SIOC) in our MEA practices focused on helping our clients build their Security Intelligence and Operations Centers from developing a strategy/roadmap, or improving their existing Security Operations Center (SOC) using a proven methodology.

Our goal in our SIOC practice is for our consultants to become a “trusted advisor” to our clients, who can speak to all levels of client management from security analysts to c-level managers/executives, in the areas of security intelligence and operations including Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) Relevant to our clients’ industry, advanced security controls, incident response process and procedures, metrics and analytics, with knowledge of various security technologies such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and incident response tools.

In this role, you will partner with other IBM consultants from other IBM practices to deliver the best possible solution to our clients. You will be responsible for leading workshops to assess client security capabilities, lead discussions in pre-sales, sales capacity, respond to request for proposal (RFP) or call for tender (ITT) as well as lead, manage and deliver SIOC services to our clients.

Demonstrate credentials in a core security area, and also represent the capabilities of IBM’s comprehensive security services
Work closely with solution design teams in developing client presentations and business statement (SOWs)
Become a recognized thought leader in a core security area, using conferences, presentation documents, and customer presentations to build awareness of your IBM credential
Use your experience in the security industry to contribute content and advice to the offering development process
– Ability to work easily with diverse and dynamic teams
Working in a matrix management model
Managing multiple engagements or projects with clients
Lead and deliver a project based on different project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile or Customer model)
Lead large groups and be the primary facilitator
– Lead and formulate client expectations
– Effective writing, communication and presentation skills
– Help drive pursuits and engage in complex deals, matching results with expectations
Willing to travel up to 75% or as per client(s) need.

Technical and professional experience required

At least 5 years of experience in management consulting and systems integration in a first-class professional services firm
At least 2 years of experience working on Intelligence and Security Operations (SIOC) related projects
Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions
Experience working with security practitioners
Up to 75% travel readiness

Preferred technical and professional experience

At least 10 years of experience in management consulting and systems integration in a first-class professional services firm
At least 5 years of experience working on projects related to Intelligence and Security Operations (SIOC)
Experience working in international publishing roles
– Master
