Those who tested positive were sent home before training and the Premier League was notified. The rest of the team and practice were trained on one-on-one and offline sessions.
United are set to play Brentford in the Premier League on Tuesday. Tottenham had the coronavirus outbreak last week, forcing them to postpone two of their matches – including one at Brighton in the Premier League.
The British newspaper The Sun was the first to report the positive tests at United. United played Norwich away on Saturday, winning 1-0, and routine tests showed negative for the entire group.
