Kuala Lumpur, August 31 (BNA) The office of former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad announced in a statement today that he has contracted COVID-19.
Malaysian news agency Bernama reported that Dr Mahathir has been admitted to the National Heart Institute for monitoring over the next few days as advised by the medical team.
Dr Mahathir tested positive for COVID-19 this morning, the statement said.
