Charterhouse is looking for one of the region’s leading family groups, which owns a wide range of retail outlets, brands, consumer goods and B2C/B2B services, in core sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, real estate, sports and fitness, and technology. Operating across the GCC region, this esteemed group has contributed significantly to the growth of the region and is looking forward to appointing an experienced and technically minded Logistics Manager for their in-house Supply Chain and Logistics business, who will oversee the entire operations of the group.
This role will be responsible for the development and growth of the in-house logistics business, ensuring high levels of customer service standards at all times, while managing budget and fully operating across the retail portfolio. You will be responsible for creating a performance-driven environment, achieving business goals and objectives, by enhancing their existing systems, processes and productivity to ensure continuous execution of operations across all departments, including supply chain, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, distribution, and finally mileage management and back store.
Concurrently, this senior position will establish logistics best practices and cross-functional solutions for the company’s supply chain and associated operations, while maintaining a clear line of communication with shareholders and owners.
The client will be looking to hire an experienced Logistics Operations Manager, who will be able to demonstrate a proven track record (12 years) within a family group in GCC or 3PL that specializes in the Retail, Grocery and Pharma sectors.
The successful candidate will be a senior supply chain professional who is practical, analytical and can effectively solve problems. The Logistics Manager will have excellent B2C and B2B experience and hold a Master’s degree in a relative field from an internationally recognized university.
