This exciting role is part of a significant period of transformation and growth for the organization. As such, we are looking for a top-tier logistics specialist with experience across multiple sectors to come in and apply industry best practices across the group.
Responsibilities:
– Negotiate contracts and prices with carriers.
– Managing incoming and outgoing shipments.
– Supervising logistics, warehousing, transportation and customer service.
– Organizing warehouses, merchandise labels, ground tracks, and shipment operations.
– Reply to any problems or complaints.
– Searching for optimal shipping, routing and carrier technologies.
Work with other departments to integrate logistics with company procedures and operations.
– Evaluation of budgets and expenditures.
Maintaining metrics to determine performance and improve performance.
Ensure that all operations comply with laws, guidelines and ISO requirements.
To qualify for this exciting role, applicants must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
– At least 10 years of experience in a similar position.
In-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
– 8+ years experience in GCC countries
