LMRA Inspectors take judicial oath

Manama, June 8 (BNA): Ten inspectors of the Enforcement and Protection Department of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority have taken the judicial oath before the Authority’s CEO, Nof Abdul Rahman Jamsheer.

The judicial oath comes after the decision of the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments No. 51 of 2023 regarding granting the employees of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority the status of judicial control officers, and the implementation of Law No. 19 of 2006 regarding the regulation of the labor market.

Jamsheer stressed that the Department of Activation and Protection is one of the main pillars in the authority’s implementation of its responsibilities, indicating the great role played by the sector in maintaining the stability of the labor market, addressing illegal practices, and preserving the rights of all work parties. .

The CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority stressed to the inspectors the importance of commitment to carrying out the tasks entrusted to them, with the highest level of professionalism, accuracy and honesty, with the approved standards, within the framework of regulation and adherence to the legal principles in the law. Dealing with workers in the labor market and within the provisions of the law.

Jamsheer also called on all employees of the enforcement and protection sector, including inspection officers, to exercise the role of guidance and awareness while carrying out inspection work on establishments and workers, and to continuously develop their personal skills and legal knowledge. It will build their professionalism when dealing with employers and employees.
