Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out inspection campaigns in the capital and the northern and southern governorates.
The campaigns were coordinated with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Sciences at the Ministry of Interior and the police directorates in the governorates.
The crackdown resulted in several reported violations of labor market and residency laws. The reported cases were referred for legal action.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to reporting violations through an extensive inspection plan, in coordination with the relevant government agencies.
And she renewed her call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices, by reporting violations via the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.bh or calling the authority’s call center at 17506055.
