Manama, March 16 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority, in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, carried out joint inspection campaigns on a number of workplaces in all governorates of the Kingdom last week.
The campaigns resulted in raising many crimes related to violations of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and Immigration Authority law, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
The campaigns reflect the ongoing efforts of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, the Ministry and other government bodies to improve the work environment, in addition to addressing the level of LMRA’s careful monitoring of practices that affect the competitiveness, flexibility and fairness of the labor market, not to mention their negative impact on social security.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority stressed the importance of society’s role in supporting the government’s efforts in maintaining economic, social, security and health stability.
