LMRA conducts inspection campaigns in “Capital” and “Southern” Governorates

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out three inspection campaigns on a number of shops and work sites.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority indicated that a joint inspection campaign was implemented in the southern governorate, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Governorate Police Directorate.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority also conducted two inspection campaigns in the Capital Governorate and the Southern Governorate, which were carried out by the enforcement sector in the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.

The campaigns resulted in the reporting of many violations related to the labor market and residency laws. The reported cases were referred for legal action.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to reporting violations through an extensive inspection plan, in coordination with the relevant government agencies.

And she renewed her call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices.
