Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the Ministry of Interior continue to make joint efforts to intensify inspection campaigns against illegal practices in the labor market.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out two inspection campaigns, the first was in the Muharraq Governorate in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Police Directorate of the governorate, while the other campaign was carried out in the capital governorates by the Implementation Sector of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.
The campaigns resulted in the reporting of many violations related to the labor market and residency laws. Cases have been referred for legal action.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to reporting violations through an extensive inspection plan, in coordination with the relevant government agencies.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices, by reporting violations via the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.bh or by calling the authority’s call center. at 17506055.
