Manama, December 1 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority, in cooperation with the Department of Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Southern Governorate, carried out an inspection campaign on the gathering places of expatriate workers and a number of shops in the Southern Governorate. .
The joint inspection campaigns aimed at stabilizing the local market and identifying any violations or illegal measures that might affect the fairness, flexibility and competitiveness of the labor market.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of violators who were proven to have violated the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the Bahrain Residency Law.
The authority stresses the importance of the community’s role in supporting the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal practices in the labor market.
