LMRA conducts four inspection campaigns in the Northern, Capital and Southern Governorates

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out four inspection campaigns in the Northern Governorate, the Capital Governorate, and the Southern Governorate, on a number of shops and work sites.

The campaigns resulted in reports of violations of labor market and residency laws. Cases have been referred for legal action.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority indicated that two joint inspection campaigns were carried out in the Northern Governorate, the first in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Police Directorate in the governorate. The other campaign was carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority also carried out a joint inspection campaign in the Capital Governorate, in coordination with the General Directorate for Crime Detection and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate for the Enforcement of Sentences and Alternative Sentences. The other inspection campaign was conducted in the Southern Governorate by the Labor Market Regulatory Authority’s enforcement sector.
