LMRA CEO receives Turkish ambassador

Manama, September 20 (BNA) Mr. Nouf Abdulrahman Jamsheer, CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), received Turkish Ambassador Esen Çakil.

The two sides reviewed the close bilateral relations, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of work and development, and to benefit from experiences in various fields in the two countries.

Jamsheer discussed the conditions of the Turkish workforce in Bahrain, and work to facilitate commercial procedures provided to employers from the Turkish community, with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of attracting investments to keep pace with the requirements of economic development in the country.

She commended the role of the Turkish embassy in educating its citizens about its rights and duties, noting their keenness to abide by the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom.

The ambassador stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation with the Labor Market Regulatory Authority to serve common interests, praising the advanced Bahraini labor legislation that is in line with international labor standards and that contributed to preserving the rights of all employers and expatriate workers.
