Seoul, Oct. 2 (BUS): LG Electronics announced that it has showcased the world’s largest light-emitting diode (OLED) TV at its latest US trade fair in a bid to target the North American premium TV market.


LG Electronics unveiled its 97-inch OLED TV lineup, or OLED evo Gallery Edition, at the Consumer Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo 2022 in Dallas, Texas, for three days starting September 29, Yonhap reports. . .


The South Korean consumer electronics giant first unveiled its 97-inch OLED TV at the IFA 2022 electronics show held in Berlin last month.


At CEDIA 2022, the company also showed off the Flex, the world’s first bendable OLED gaming monitor, and the LG StanbyME motion screen.


LG Electronics, with its latest new lineup, said it aims to solidify its leadership in the premium TV market in the US as demand is expected to rise during key US shopping seasons, such as Black Friday in November and Christmas.


OLED TVs accounted for 33.2 percent of LG’s total TV sales in the first half.
