Required to join a government backed developer in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely legal advice to all stakeholders in line with the mandate of the legal department. This may include areas such as structure, business operations, various project-related activities, operations, dispute resolution, and litigation matters. Other duties include
Develop documents in accordance with established templates, policies and standard processes of the Legal Affairs Department.
Advise on aspects such as the terms and conditions of contracts, agreements and other documents received or created
Support in the design and implementation of compliance policies and procedures that govern conflicts of interest, Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer, etc.
Support in providing legal advice on monitoring legal compliance with local, regional and international laws as required.
Support in providing legal advice related to labor law
Applicants must meet the following criteria
Bachelor’s degree in law is required.
An additional legal qualification or a master’s degree in law is preferred. 10+ years of work experience in the legal field to work in the construction/real estate sector
