Situation Summary

An exciting opportunity arose for a professional learner to join Nestlé. When reporting to the MENA Talent Manager, you will identify and implement learning initiatives that help us build our capacity, close skills gaps, retain our best talent and build a culture of continuous learning.

a day in the life of

Learning Needs: Understand, evaluate and report on market learning and capacity needs, priorities, and capabilities, based on local business and people strategies
Design and Build Local: Leading the design, construction and delivery of the agreed upon selected “local” portfolio, also leveraging regional CoC resources and capabilities
Training: Lead the local training network in full cooperation with the regional talent blog.
Onboard: Supporting talent acquisition and HR services in providing local induction and onboarding programs
– Feedback to the Learning Design Team: Provide structured feedback to the regional code of conduct on the quality of design and construction of the above-mentioned market portfolio
Business Needs and Learning Impact: Proactively provide input and ongoing feedback to the talent manager on: business needs, development priorities, and impact of building learning and capacity above market solutions at the local level (leveraging the global analytics and learning effectiveness tool)
Development Partnership: Partner, as coach/expert, and in collaboration with leadership and team development manager, with local HBPs to build and implement people development plans

What will make you successful?

2-3 years experience in leading a learning function across the region
Commercial Acumen: Ability to implement a people development business strategy within the aforementioned portfolio of L&D solutions
Digital acumen: the ability to take advantage of opportunities generated by digital learning technologies
The ability to communicate with the external environment
Managing stakeholders: HRBPs, LMs, regional talent fellows in the Code of Conduct
Ability to choose and prioritize resources
Working under pressure from different and sometimes conflicting demands
Implementation capabilities and effectiveness
