What will you do:
Ensure that departmental uniform needs are met.
Ensure uniform collection and delivery are done on time, ensuring proper handling to avoid spoilage.
– All operational duties are fulfilled in each shift.
– Contribute to standard room briefings each time.
– Participation in the process of improving the unified room.
– Monitors and tracks the uniforms issued to new colleagues.
– To ensure that all equipment used in the Uniform Room is well stocked and well maintained and that relevant instructions and courses are well adapted and followed.
– To participate in daily inventories.
Follow up on daily checklists.
To attend a daily briefing with the uniformed team summarizing tasks and activities.
To share highlights of daily activities with the Assistant Laundry Manager and/or the uniformed supervisor, including internal and external guest/colleague opportunities.
Your experience and skills include:
– At least one year experience in the hospitality field
Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is an added advantage
– Responsible and very reliable
A practical approach is essential
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Able to work on many tasks/projects simultaneously
A highly motivated individual who is able to absorb new ideas and learn quickly
Has the ability to adapt to changing priorities and align activities to meet company goals
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
