Launch of Bahrain Declaration n Egypt welcomed

Cairo, April 27 (BNA): Editor-in-chiefs, directors and deputy editors-in-chief of Egyptian national newspapers praised the launch of the Bahrain Declaration in Cairo, which became the first Arab and African city to host such an event. .


They commended the document, which they said reflected Bahrain’s commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and human development.


In statements on the sidelines of the launch ceremony, they described the announcement as a role model in the Arab region and the world.


The editor-in-chief of the Middle East News Agency, Ali Hassan, praised the announcement, which represents a call for peaceful coexistence among people.


He stressed the importance of the values ​​stipulated in the Covenant, which call for peace in the world in general and in our Arab region in particular.


He expressed his pleasure at the launch of the Bahrain Declaration from Egypt, praising the royal patronage of His Majesty the King for the opening ceremony.


He highlighted the initiative’s support from representatives of all religions, including His Holiness the Pope of the Vatican, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and world sheikhs.


Abdul Razzaq Tawfiq, editor-in-chief of the Egyptian newspaper Al Gomhuria, said that Cairo embraces and supports every Bahraini and Arab progress.


He pointed out that the declaration reflects Bahrain’s keenness to establish the rules of human rights, and embodies the Bahraini-Arab-Egyptian keenness to build the human being in a complete and integrated manner.


He also praised the launch of the Bahrain Declaration, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, Hani Farouk, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, member of the National Press Authority, Sameh Abdullah, and other prominent media personalities.
