Labour Minister receives Indian ambassador

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, Chairman of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, received India’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries and reviewed issues related to the development of human resources, the protection of the workforce in the private sector, the promotion of investment and the upgrading of labor market systems in line with international labor standards.

The Indian ambassador praised the developed bilateral relations, praising the Kingdom’s efforts in protecting the rights of the workforce. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the care provided to the Indian community in Bahrain.
