Labour Minister highlights success of Economic Recovery Plan

Manama, October 22 (BNA) Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan chaired the meeting of the Coordination and Follow-up Committee at the Ministry of Labor, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. and relevant officials.

The meeting focused on ways to develop the Ministry of Labor’s initiatives and programs to employ citizens and integrate them into the labor market in line with the economic recovery plan launched by the government.

In this regard, she reviewed the progress of work in implementing the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Labor in cooperation with its main partners, including the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), private sector companies and institutions, as well as indicators of employment success. Initiatives and challenges faced.

Humaidan affirmed that the Minister of Labor will continue to implement its programs to employ citizen job seekers, noting that thanks to the economic recovery plan launched by the government under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the economic and trade movement flourished in the Kingdom, which paved the way for The way for Bahrain to attract many investment opportunities that generate job opportunities.

He stressed that the Ministry of Labor seeks, through its incentives for the productive sectors, to provide free training for the national workforce, support the salaries of Bahraini workers, and intensify the employment of job seekers in private institutions, calling for strengthening cooperation with the private sector to achieve this. Achieving the ultimate national goal of making Bahrainis the first choice in the labor market.
