Manama, December 11 (BNA) The Minister of Labor and Social Development, Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, met with Member of Parliament, Representative Mamdouh Al-Saleh, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Diyeh Charitable Association, Maitham Ali. Abdullah and several members.
They discussed the various services provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, and ways to enhance cooperation to develop charitable and voluntary work and activities in the Kingdom.
Maytham Ali shed light on the initiatives and activities of the association to serve the residents of Al-Diya governorate, most notably the women’s sewing project, in addition to building a strategic partnership with civil society institutions to achieve its development goals in a way that enhances social solidarity among citizens.
The minister praised the efforts of the Daih Charitable Society and its contributions in supporting entrepreneurs and job seekers in the Daih area, in addition to its role in strengthening social security.
He stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Labor to provide job opportunities for citizens in private sector institutions, stressing its permanent support for the initiatives of civil society institutions and organizations, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and procedures.
