TOKYO, Nov. 10 (BNA) The Japan Meteorological Bureau said there is an 80% chance that La Nina will continue until mid-winter in the northern hemisphere.
The La Nina weather event is characterized by frigid ocean temperatures in the equatorial Pacific and is associated with floods and droughts.
The Met Office sees a 70% chance that normal weather patterns will return by spring.
