Kuwait, May 11 (BNA) The Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly and Honorary President of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union Marzouq Al-Ghanim received today the Bahraini parliamentary delegation headed by the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of the Shura Council Rida. Ibrahim Al-Manfaridi, which includes members of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Amer and Zainab Abdel-Amir.
This came as Al-Ghanim received here today the delegations participating in the Youth Scout Forum “Tamkeen”, which will be hosted by Kuwait from May 7 to 12.
Addressing the participating delegations, the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly stressed the importance of the Arab Parliamentary Scout Gathering in strengthening Arab solidarity, noting that understanding and consensus are among the most important weapons for facing challenges.
He also thanked the new countries that recently joined the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union, which includes 19 Arab countries out of 22 members.
He also expressed his happiness for the continuous cooperation between the Scout Movement and the Arab Planning Institute, stressing the importance of agreeing to hold training courses to qualify and train Arab youth, indicating that the Scout Movement is one of the main and effective means and methods. To qualify young people and prepare them to face challenges and overcome them in the future.
