Kuwait, Jan. 31 (BNA): Kuwait is likely to record a budget deficit for the fiscal year 2023-2024 of more than five billion Kuwaiti dinars ($16.3 billion), forecasts by the Ministry of Finance showed today, Tuesday, saying that the figure takes into account profits. independent state bodies.

The ministry said in a statement that the ministry submitted a draft budget to Parliament that includes the profits of independent state agencies, citing a 19 percent increase in non-oil revenues after all numbers are counted.

The breakeven price of Kuwaiti crude is $92 per barrel, while the average price per barrel of oil as shown in the budget is $70. The report showed a decrease of 15 USD compared to the price in the global market.
