KSrelief, OIC sign agreement to distribute aids in Afghanistan

Riyadh, October 5 (BNA) The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief) signed yesterday a joint cooperation agreement with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to provide food aid to flood victims and the most needy families in Afghanistan. 2022-2023 year.

The agreement was signed in Riyadh by the Assistant General Supervisor of Operations and Programs at the King Salman Center for Relief, Business and Programs, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, and the Director General of the Office of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Afghanistan, Muhammad Saeed Al-Ayyash.

The agreement aims to secure and distribute 47,400 food baskets weighing 2,938 tons to flood victims and needy families in 24 Afghan provinces, benefiting 284,400 individuals, as each basket weighs 62 kilograms and contains basic foodstuffs.

This agreement comes within the framework of the humanitarian projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action to help the needy in the affected countries around the world.
