The “Arab Sports between Reality and Ambition” was organized by the Bahraini Sports Pioneers Association under the patronage of the First Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The closing ceremony was attended by His Majesty’s Adviser for Youth and Sports Affairs, President of the Bahrain Pioneer Athletic Association Saleh bin Isa bin Hindi Al Manni, and the President of the Arab Pioneer Sports Association (ASPA) Dr. Mohammed bin Salman Al. Al-Ruwaished. The Adviser to His Majesty the King praised the outstanding efforts made by the Bahrain Sports Pioneers Association and the Organizing Committee to achieve the desired goals of the first conference, which shed light on the sporting, economic and cultural achievements made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the era of prosperity. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Majesty’s Adviser for Youth and Sports Affairs praised the support given to the youth and sports sector by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Youth and Sports Affairs. He stressed that His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s sponsorship of the conference contributed to its success. He noted the importance of the academic papers presented by the lecturers over the course of two years.
