London, Oct 3 (BNA): Kenya’s Joycelyn Gipkosgee won the thrilling London Marathon on Sunday in a time of 2 hours 17.43 minutes as world record holder and defending champion Brigid Kosgei faded late in the race to finish outside the podiums.
Gipkosgee came 15 seconds ahead of Ethiopia’s Digitu Azimerao, while Ashite Bekere was third.
