Kante, Chilwell injuries take shine off Chelsea’s win

London, November 24 (BNA) – Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel said that he is concerned about the injury of midfielder N’Golo Kante and full back Ben Chilwell during their 4-0 victory over Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Chelsea secured their place in the Round of 16 but Kante faltered in the first half while Chilwell sustained a knee injury in the second half and was taken off the field, Reuters reported.

“It worries me because (Chilwell) was in such a great moment, like Reese (James) on the other side. They were in the best shape they could be, very strong, full of confidence and with a lot of quality,” Tuchel said.

Chile suffers from severe knee pain and has been in severe pain.

Tuchel said the defender will undergo an examination on Wednesday.

“It’s the same with N’Golo. He twisted his knee a little bit but I hope it’s not so bad,” he added.
