Jordanian monarch wraps up Canada, US visits

Amman, Feb. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan returned today to his country after visiting Canada and the United States.

According to Jordan News Agency (Petra), His Majesty King Abdullah II met with Governor General of Canada Marie Simon and held talks with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

In Washington, DC, the Jordanian monarch met US President Joe Biden and held meetings with a number of senior officials in the US administration. In the United States Congress, King held a series of meetings with the leaders and committees of the House and Senate.

His Majesty also delivered the keynote address at the 71st National Prayer Breakfast Gathering in Washington, D.C., and met with representatives of international and American Jewish organizations, as well as leaders of the American media.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II accompanied His Majesty the King on the visit.
