Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck wed in Las Vegas drive-through

NEW YORK, July 18 (US): Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in a Las Vegas chapel late at night, culminating in a relationship spanning two decades into two separate romances and countless tabloid covers.

Lopez announced their wedding Sunday in her “We Did It” newsletter to fans.

Lopez wrote that the couple traveled to Las Vegas on Saturday, queued to get their license with four other couples, and married shortly after midnight at A Little White Wedding Chapel, a chapel that houses the “tunnel of love.” Lopez said a Bluetooth speaker triggered their short walk down the aisle.

“Stay long enough, and maybe you will find the best moment of your life on a Las Vegas car ride at 12:30 a.m. in the Tunnel of Love by car with your kids and with whom you will spend forever,” Lopez said.

News of their marriage first broke on Sunday after the Clark County clerk’s office in Nevada showed that the couple had a marriage license processed on Saturday.

The marriage license filing showed that Lopez plans to take the name Jennifer Affleck.
