Jackson hits late jumper, Clippers beat Magic 106-104

Los Angeles, December 12 (BUS): Reggie Jackson hit a backflip 2.2 seconds ago to give the Los Angeles Clippers a 106-104 win over the Orlando Magic.

Jackson, who had nine points out of 25 in the fourth quarter, scored 20 feet after a timeout after Orlando tied 104 on the Cole Anthony Pointer with three points with 23.6 seconds left.

The Clippers maintained their third straight win when Terrence Ross missed the 3-pointer at the bell, The Associated Press reported.

Luke Kennard scored a season-high 23 points and seven three-pointers with Los Angeles. Terrence Man added 16 points.

The Clippers missed Paul George for the second game in a row due to a bruised right elbow.

Anthony led Magic with 23 points, including five three-pointers and Ross came off the bench to add 22 points. Orlando has fallen four times in a row and 14 from the last 16.

Washington: Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points, Rudy Gobert scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds, and Utah beat Washington for their seventh straight win.

Miami: Duncan Robinson scored a season-high with 26 points as Miami beat Chicago.

Robinson played in his 174th game in a row in Miami, shooting 9 of 13 from the field, making 5 of 9 three-pointers. DeWayne Deadmon scored 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Zach Lavigne scored 31 points for Chicago. The Bulls lost additional players due to health and safety protocols hours before the match. Keepers Ayo Dosunmo were left out and recently signed with Stanley Johnson, joining leading scorer Demar DeRozan as well as Matt Thomas, Kobe White, Jafonte Green and Derek Jones Jr.
