An IT Support Engineer is required to join a global company based in their Dubai office. As an IT Support Engineer, the role will mostly focus on the first line and will act as the first point of contact for all UAE employees and will also be the point of contact for offices located across the GCC. The company is looking for someone with experience in maintaining IT systems and IT infrastructure. The company is going through a really exciting period and has grown consistently in its 100-year history and continues to do so, expanding its current offices as more open globally. Responsibilities:
• Install, configure and maintain computers, networks and/or other IT-related equipment and devices
• Providing software and hardware support to our employees, whether in the office or remotely
• Take ownership and resolve internal issues and requests to completion
• Take responsibility and take action on the on-board IT on/off process to ensure a smooth start date
• Escalate IT issues to an external IT service provider when required
• Manage ticketing systems
• Maintain IT assets and inventories
• Write and update user instructions and document changes
• Participate in project work and responsible for tasks
• Support management of all Office 365 licenses and reporting (mailbox size/traffic)

Required skill:
• Strong troubleshooting skills with both Windows and macOS using best practices
• Strong ability to multitask and set priorities
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including O365
• Experienced in using, recording and documenting technical issues in a ticket management system
• Experience with Windows Server Active Directory users and computers
• Knowledge of networks such as TCP / IP, DHCP and DNS
