Cairo, September 20 (BNA) A delegation from the Ministry of Interior participated in the third session of the Arab Coordination Mechanism for Disaster Risk Reduction in Cairo.
The session discussed disaster risk reduction mechanisms and the health risk manual and its implementation, and reviewed preparations for the Fifth Arab Regional Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction to be held in Morocco in November.
The Director of the Protection and Safety Department and Head of the Executive Office of the National Committee for Disaster Management, Colonel Dr. Muhammad Khalifa Al-Bangdir, referred to the national strategic vision for disaster management and risk reduction in Bahrain, which emphasizes the importance of joint work to manage and reduce disaster risks and exchange experiences.
