Interior Ministry launches police media training programme

Manama, Mar. 11 (BNA): The Director General of Media and Security Culture, Brigadier General Muhammad bin Dinah, stressed the importance of training, capacity building and modern practices in the police media in promoting the modernization and development strategy launched by the Minister of Interior 20 years ago. Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for all sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

At the beginning of an intensive training program launched by the Directorate to enhance the skills of its employees, he stressed the importance of keeping pace with the development in digital media and knowledge to produce an effective police media message to achieve the targeted goals.

He said that the training program focuses on training, media production, effectiveness in fulfilling duties, building capacities and developing media strategies.

The three-day training course was presented by media expert Nadia Al-Turki with the aim of enhancing the media skills of the participants.

Participants learned speech concepts, self-confidence techniques, ways to deal with tensions, and ways to deal with different personalities. In addition, they participated in presentations, time management, and body language exercises.
