Manama, June 16 (BNA): The Minister of Interior received Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Commander of the US Coast Guard, Admiral Linda Fagan.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major General Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the Commander of the Coast Guard, Brigadier Jassim Mohammed Al-Ghattam.
The Minister of Interior welcomed the US official to visit to enhance the exchange of views. He praised the strategic partnership and strong relations between the two countries.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening security cooperation to develop joint operations in maritime security and regional stability.
