Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received his Jordanian counterpart, Mazen Abdullah Hilal Al-Faraih, who is on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the meetings of the Bahraini-Jordanian Higher Committee. . The Minister of Interior welcomed the guest, praising the fraternal and historical relations that bind the two countries thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of Jordan. He praised the bilateral security cooperation and efforts to enhance joint security work to protect national achievements and regional security.
The two sides agreed to hold joint security meetings to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries and to review cooperation and coordination to face regional and international security challenges.
