Manama, June 7 (BNA) The Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today received the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) for the Middle East, Sir Tom Beckett, in the presence of the Chief of Public Security, First Lieutenant – Major General Tariq Al-Hassan.
The Minister of Interior welcomed the Executive Director and praised the Institute’s role in research and studies, praising its efforts in holding international conferences, including the Manama Dialogue.
He stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to enhance cooperation to achieve common goals.
During the meeting, the development of cooperation was reviewed.
