Manama, June 14 (BNA) Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received retired General Sir Nicholas Carter, former British Chief of Defense Staff, in the presence of Public Security Chief Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan.
The Minister welcomed retired General Carter, who arrived on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to exchange views.
He praised the deep historical relations that bind the two friendly countries, stressing mutual interest in strengthening joint relations to achieve common interests. The two sides also discussed security issues and regional developments.
