Interior Minister attends graduation ceremony

Islamabad, November 18 (BNA) Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa attended today the graduation ceremony of the thirteenth batch of university graduates, law graduates, police sciences, higher diplomas, forensic medicine and police sciences. The first and second batches of Diploma in Forensic Medicine and Police Science for Police Aviation.

Upon his arrival at the Royal Police Academy, he was received by the Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan, and the Commander of the Royal Armed Forces, Brigadier General Fawaz Al-Hassan.

The ceremony began with a presentation followed by honoring the graduates.

The Minister of Interior expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, for his support and appreciation for the role of police personnel in protecting national security. He also expressed his gratitude for the contributions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in protecting the high-level security services.

He stressed the importance of investing in human resources for the development and modernization process to face security challenges. He also highlighted the importance of moving forward in preparing a workforce capable of meeting the development of security work in accordance with security requirements.

The Minister of Interior said that training will remain a top priority of the Ministry of Interior, adding that security responsibility requires adherence to the law, integrity and assuming responsibilities.

It is worth noting that some graduates were sent to study at Arab, American and European universities. They studied important disciplines, such as cyber security, firefighting, safety engineering, criminology, forensics, human resources, and crisis management.

In the same context, the program leader delivered a speech highlighting the Academy’s efforts to develop training programs according to international standards to enhance the skills of students and trainees.

Addressing the graduates, he said, “We will guide you and give you the opportunity to benefit from our expertise. You have to be determined and dedicated to carrying out your duties to achieve national goals.”

After that, the graduates took the oath, and the Minister of Interior honored the outstanding students.

He congratulated them and urged them to work hard in serving the country. He also thanked their parents for their encouragement, praising the role of RAP in developing education and training programs to meet security challenges. He wished them all success in serving the country.
