Manama, October 7 (BNA) The Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development held its third regular meeting today, headed by the Minister of Information and Chairman of the Institute’s Board of Trustees, Ali bin Muhammad Al-Rumaihi. The meeting was held in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director of the Institute.
The Board of Directors praised the Institute’s achievements during the past period, which benefited many components of Bahraini society. He also stressed the need to continue implementing programs to achieve the goals of the comprehensive development projects of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in line with the government’s action plan led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Board of Trustees discussed the Institute’s future plans, stressing the importance of cooperation with relevant national institutions. She also referred to cooperation with the legislative authority to promote parliamentary action and democracy among all social components.
