Manama, June 6 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, visited the Bahrain Stock Exchange.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, CEO of the Bahrain Bourse, was present.
The minister was briefed on the departments of the Bahrain Stock Exchange and the Bahrain Clearing Company and the tasks assigned to each department.
He also met with a number of trainees in the Capital Markets Vocational Training Programme, which is one of the awareness programs organized by BHB for the third year in a row with the aim of providing Bahraini graduates with practical experience in the financial markets sector.
Minister Fakhro explained the most important services provided by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to the trainees, stressing the Ministry’s support for all Bahrainis.
He pointed out that such ambitious programs contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s development goals and developing capital markets, pointing to the importance of taking advantage of the practical training opportunities and programs provided, which contribute to raising skills, refining experiences and developing practical and practical national youth. Productive capabilities in an incubating environment for research, development and innovation.
The members of the third batch of trainees in the vocational training program for capital markets expressed their appreciation for the minister’s support and encouragement to develop services for the public and private sectors in the Kingdom.
