Riyadh, June 8 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and Chairman of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani met with the Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib.
This came during the minister’s participation in the 116th meeting of the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in Riyadh.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nasser Ali Kaidi, CEO of BTEA.
During the meeting, the Bahraini-Saudi relations were reviewed and important government plans and programs to support the tourism sector were discussed.
Al-Zayani affirmed the government’s support for all programmes, initiatives and projects that would develop these relations and serve the two kingdoms.
